By attending a photo session or making a purchase with Shawn Black Photography, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Non-Refundable Purchases

All sales are final. Due to the custom nature of photography, purchases—including session fees, prints, and digital files—are non-refundable.

2. Copyright and Usage Rights

All images are the intellectual property of Shawn Black Photography and are protected under U.S. copyright law. The copyright remains solely with the photographer. Images may not be altered, sold, or used commercially without prior written consent.

3. Limited Print Release

With the purchase of digital files, a limited print release is granted for personal use only. This allows you to print and share images for non-commercial purposes such as gifts, personal social media, or home display. This release does not permit resale, commercial use, or publication of the images without explicit written permission from Shawn Black Photography.

4. Print Quality Disclaimer

We guarantee the quality of prints ordered through our professional lab. However, we cannot guarantee color accuracy, resolution, or longevity of prints produced by third-party or consumer-grade printing services.

5. Image Use for Promotion

By attending a photo session and/or completing a purchase, you grant Shawn Black Photography and its assignees the right to use your images for promotional and commercial purposes, including but not limited to advertising, social media, website galleries, and printed marketing materials.

If you prefer not to have your images used publicly, please notify us in writing at info@shawnblackphoto.com prior to or at the time of your session or purchase.

6. Model Release

Unless otherwise stated in writing, you (and/or your child or ward, if applicable) consent to being photographed and grant permission for Shawn Black Photography to use the resulting images as outlined above.

7. Agreement

By attending a photo session or making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions in full.
