We love photographing siblings.  

It depends on what images you would like.  Most of the time an individual photo is wanted of each and then a photo together. 

For this, you would book 3 time slots. 

You'll receive your images via email for digital download when within 3 weeks of the photoshoot.  

Images will also come with a limited print release. This means you are able to print the images where and how you would like for personal use.  

You'll also have the option to order prints directly from us printed by our professional lab.  We can only guarantee print quality through our labs. 

If you can't make the time you booked, please let us know asap.  We will do our best to reschedule your time. In cases that we can't reschedule for the same day, we will have a make up times at our studio in Peabody.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for any reason, including missed appointments. However we will do our best to reschedule a mutually agreeable time. 

We do basic photo clean up on every finished photo.  

If you receive your photos and would like additional retouching, please let us know. Depending on what is requested, there may be costs to the adjustments. 

Arrive to your photo time on time and ready to smile. 

Tips:
- All costumes should be steamed and on hangers

- Tights should be clean without stains or runs

- Dance shoes clean and polished

- Any makeup is completed 

- Hair done and flyaways tamed as much as possible

Please do your best to arrive early to be ready for your photo time.  Time slots are only 5 minutes. 

If you arrive late, we will do our best to fit you in, however the times are tight and we need to honor the times other dancers have booked.  

If we can't get you in, we will offer a make up day in our photography studio in Peabody.

Yes, the photos may be displayed and used through Shawn Black Photography media and it's assigns.

By completing a purchase, you grant Shawn Black Photo and its assignees the right to use images for promotional and commercial purposes.  Full terms and conditions are on the bottom of this page.

These photos will be action photos of dancers on stage doing what they love.  This allows you to be in the moment and enjoy the performance. 

Below is a portion of a sample gallery.

The photographer will be at recital rehearsal and recitals allowing plenty of opportunity to capture some unique imagery of the dancers.   

Some may be just of your dancer, some will include other dancers as the images are action images of the dancers on stage. They are not posed images, they are images of your dancer having fun on stage and that often includes other dancers in the images. Other things that impact the images is the dance choreography and where the dancer is on stage.

We spot your dancer using an AI technology. 

The week before recital, you will receive a link to upload a photo of your dancer.  This will also be available at the rehearsals.  Be sure to do this step!

Each dancer will have their own Individual Photo Gallery. These galleries are not shared so a gallery will need to be purchased for each dancer. 

If your dancers are in the same routines, there is a chance that they will be in some photos together however it will only focus on 1 of them so there will most likely be missed images of the 2nd dancer.  

For the Video: Of course this video is of the whole stage and does not focus on just one dancer. If you'd like the video for your family, you only need to purchase this once.

Images will be available within 20 business days of the recital date. 

When the images are ready, a link will be sent out to the gallery. 

If you have pre-purchased a package, you will be provided a coupon code to download your images. 

If you do not pre-purchase a package, you'll be able to view the images and make purchases directly from the album, however it will be at the regular price. Pre-purchase prices are available until midnight, the day before recital. 

The videos will be delivered separately from the images. It will be delivered digitally and will need to be downloaded to a device to save before the gallery expires. 

This will vary depending on how many numbers your dancer is in.  Images are captured at recital rehearsal and the day of recital so there will be plenty of opportunity for your dancer to appear in images however, we cannot guarantee a certain number.  

No you cannot.  With the AI spotting feature for your dancer only, packages will include images your dancer only.  Another dancer will have different images. 

You will be provided a personal use release for the images.  This means you can print them and use them for personal only. They cannot be shared with or sold. 

Due to the digital nature of the images, images, videos & packages are not refundable.
